Tutor Training at the Detroit Public Library, 5201 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202

The Detroit Literacy Coalition is collaborating with the Detroit Public Library to train literacy tutors to serve poor readers in the metro Detroit area. If you want to be trained as a tutor, contact Susan Taylor at the Detroit Public Library at 313-833-4251.

In the last six months, the DLC has trained over 200 tutors at the library. Trained tutors are placed in library positions to help poor readers.
