The Detroit Literacy Coalition (DLC), formerly the Detroit Area Lifelong Learning Coalition (DALLC) is a partnership of organizations in southeast Michigan devoted to helping adults read, write, and acquire the basic skills for success in today's global and interconnected world. The DLC believes in a fully literate society and functions to support, promote, and ensure the availability and accessibility of literacy services to metro Detroit functional illiterates through the collaborative efforts of its members. The DLC is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
